Truck catches fire in China King Buffett parking lot on Lowes Drive
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A pickup truck exploded in the parking lot of China King Buffet on Lowes Drive Wednesday evening.
Aiden and Noah Gambill, who were at China King Buffet when the incident occurred, told Clarksville Now that they heard a loud noise and then noticed that a black pickup truck in the parking lot was on fire. They said the truck was parked in the back of the parking lot with no other vehicles nearby.
Clarksville Fire and Rescue spokesman Michael Rios confirmed that firefighters responded to a vehicle fire Wednesday evening, and that the cause of the fire is not yet known.
One person was injured in the fire and has been transported to a local hospital, according to Rios.
